How to beat them?
Crafting can be fun, and usable too! With SPring around the corner and all the Holidays that join it here is a great craft!
You need:
Toilet paper tubes ( or Paper towel tubes) cut into 1 inch circles
I like 6 per person
Tissue paper, magazines, even newsprint! Tear and cut into small pieces
White glue
Paint brushes
small containers
Mix a small amount of glue, 1 - 2 tblsp with a few drips of water and stir.
Paint glue mix in a small area and apply paper in a collage type format covering whole circle. Coat with glue all over. Let dry. These make fun napkin rings for your next dinner! Make enough for guests to take it home!

Valentines
Ok...No one is reading my blog. I am not sure how to correct that but will attempt to get it out there.
Valentines Day is fast approaching. We tend to overthink this day. A simple handmede heart shaped I love you is always the best! For the parent who travels, try sticking pictures in the suitcase!
The older child can make coupons good for free hugs, newspaper retrieval even for a date to watch a sports event on tv! Moms and Dads, even grandparents love these gifts. They are inexpensive and best of all, straight from the heart!

Welcome moms,crafters and educators
Happy Holidays! Such an ominous statement. We find ourselves questioning whether we offend when stating it or is it just not enough. In the world of Children where I reside Merry Christmas is the generally accepted term. I have found myself this year offering Holiday Deals and Holiday Classes. Hmmm, well enough about that subject.
My purpose for starting a blog is to offer ideas and solutions to common occurances and frequent questions. I have been gathering for a while some intersting items and many sets of directions in the hopes of beginning a Book of 3 R's. Reduce, recycle and Renew! for Crafters. My answer to all of it is to start a blog where I hope I can convey the trials , tribulations and directions to some very unoque, kid friendly uses for our everyday household trash.
So stay tuned as I refine my blogging talents. Please bear with me and please...Feedback is of the utmost importance!
